Nothing is drawn over the picture — no quote, no title, no divider, no footer. Mix freely: a pin, then a clip, then another pin. Clips play their own trimmed length and blend into neighbours with the same transition as stills.
Motion
Fit never cuts anything off. When a picture's shape doesn't match the video's, the leftover margin is filled with a soft blurred enlargement of that same picture, so the frame is still full edge to edge. Stretch squeezes the picture to the exact frame instead — with sources already close to the video's shape the difference is a percent or two and nothing is lost. Ken Burns drift needs room to move, so it only applies in Fill.
This slider retimes every still you have not hand-adjusted on the timeline — once you drag a block's edge, that block keeps its own length.
Ken Burns drift and Text Dissolve apply to still images only — video clips crossfade instead, so nothing fights the footage's own motion.
Music
Video clips are always silent — only the track you upload here is heard, so the music carries straight through every clip.

Pause leaves the playhead where it is — scrub the timeline while paused and Resume picks up from there.
Recording happens in real time — keep this window visible (not minimized or covered) until it finishes, or the picture freezes while the audio keeps going.
Modern browsers record MP4 directly — if your download says MP4, you're done. If you get a WebM (older browsers), it uploads fine to YouTube; use Convert for Instagram & Pinterest (first run downloads a ~30 MB converter, then it's cached).

Timeline — drag a block edge to set how long it shows
Grab the dark grip bars at either end of a block. The right grip lengthens or shortens that block and everything after it slides along; the left grip moves the cut between it and the block before it, trading seconds between the two. Nothing can gap or overlap either way. Click a block to select it, then nudge with the ← → arrow keys (hold Shift for half-second steps). Click anywhere else on the timeline to jump the preview there; the hatched strips are the crossfades. If a drag stops short, the reason appears in red just above — usually the fade length or the end of a clip's footage.
